Simon Leeds
B.Eng (Electrical and Electronic) Hons
Simon completed his Bachelor degree with honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 1997.
Simon spent time working in mining and mineral processing plants prior to taking up a role with Campbell Scientific Australia. He spent 10 years with Campbell Scientific in varied roles, from Sales and Technical Support Engineer, Repair Technician, Training Course Teacher and Technical and Sales Manager. During this time, Simon was involved with new product development both in the Australian and international operations.
After a 2 year stint managing projects, integrating systems and configuring data collection platforms with Greenspan Technology in both domestic and overseas locations, Simon opened Specialized Data Services to provide contract-based expertise to the organisations in the instrumentation and data collection industry.
Simon is passionate about technical development and prides himself on being able to find products and ways of integrating them to provide the most suitable solution to a problem in the most cost-effective manner.
